New Spirit Interview

More to Life Interview

Inner Child

Think of all those yesterdays when life was just a mystery,

couldn't figure out the puzzle pieces of my history.

A quarter century of sweat and tears went into making me,

I bear too many battle scars to ever bother faking me.

Every book I read, Every heart I broke,

Every tear I shed, Every word I spoke,

was another stroke, of genius.

A masterpiece. My life's my masterpiece.

Awaking every day, that is the first and foremost pleasure,

The bitter and the sweet, appreciate in equal measure.

Happiness and sorrow, uninvited like the tides,

wash over us so suddenly, then leave without goodbyes.

Every book I read, Every heart I broke,

Every tear I shed, Every word I spoke,

was another stroke, of genius.

A masterpiece. My life's my masterpiece.

The days I spent swaddled in apathy,

The nights alone, curled up in misery,

Sleepwalking through life's charm,

Hit ten times the snooze alarm.

That's all a distant memory,

but nonetheless a part of me...a part of me...  a part of me...

With or without me, the moon shines tonight,

a gentle reminder to live as the light.

Larona October 13, 2013 @09:40 pm - My wife and i ended up being absolutely etcsatic when Louis managed to round up his preliminary research through the entire ideas he gained using your web page. It's not at all simplistic to simply happen to be making a gift of hints other people may have been making money from. We discover we now have the website owner to thank because of that. Those explanations you've made, the easy site navigation, the friendships you make it possible to create it's most sensational, and it's really making our son and our family consider that that subject is enjoyable, and that's wonderfully pressing. Thanks for the whole lot!October 22, 2012 7:31 pm
